Opening Ceremonies by Chairman, Jim Ashton Minutes of the last meeting held Monday, December 7, 2009 at the RCL Waterloo Branch No. 530, were read by Secretary Mary Anne Jantzi. * Moved by Mary Anne Jantzi, Seconded by _________________. Carried Treasurer's Report:- to date
. ING Account is $ 108,765.80, * CIBC Account is $ 43,664.55 = $ 152,430.35 TOTAL
Note: Received $859.69 from FOCSIA {Families of Canadian Soldiers in Afghanistan} Red Friday Rally
Received $500.00 from Rob Kennedy's proceeds from the sale of the Little Red Poppy Song CD Received an email from Tony Lea regarding the Ranger's 'Remembrance on Ice' Donation, stating:
"that the Poppy Fund will receive a cheque for approx. $8,000.00 - not exactly sure if this is correct until I have it in my little hand, but that was the number Steve Bienkowski mentioned" *this has not been received as yet*

= $ 15,000.00
Freeport Health Centre 2 - Spot Monitors with Stands @ $3,447.00 each
= $ 6,894.00
St. Mary's Hospital Foundation Blanket Warmer, Epidural Pump, Vital Sign's Monitor @ $15,992.55 pkg.
= $ 15,992.55

TOTAL MAJOR DONATIONS = $ 51,386.55

Note: 5 Cadet Squadrons @ $1,000.00 each = $5,000.00 has already been paid

** We would still like to donate to St. John's Kitchen - The Working Centre as they gave us the coin counter, however we will consider this at a later date when we have a better idea of our upcoming expenses...

Special Thanks to Major Tony Lea, Officer Commanding - 78th Fraser Highlanders, Fort Conestoga Garrison
- we received $1,000.00 to renovate the K-W Poppy Fund - Office (new carpet etc.)
- as Tony states he wants to ensure that I have a habitable work environment!!! LOL
