GARRY GRANT SMILEY, (1941-2010) Passed away Feb 21/2010.
GARRY GRANT SMILEY 1941 - 2010 Passed away at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Sunday, February 21, 2010, at age 68. Beloved husband of Joanne for 49 years; loved father of Jeff and Karen Smiley, Vicky and George Glowik, and Greg and Tracey Smiley; loving Poppa of Jessica, Justin, Samantha, Casey, Aidan, Josh, Michelle, and Danielle; dear brother of Ken and Helen Smiley, and Don and Gerry Smiley. Garry was a retired Firefighter and Fire Prevention Officer with the City of Waterloo, and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 50. Friends are invited to share their memories of Garry with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 248 Highland Rd. E., Kitchener on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Bill Shafer officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener will be followed by a reception in the church fellowship hall. Condolences for the family and donations to St. Stephen Lutheran Church or the Canadian Diabetes Association may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
